An Introductory Workshop in Prince William County, VA
When: Saturday morning, July 19, 2008 (9:30 AM to noon)
Where: Manassas, Virginia
Leader: Jeanne Marcus
Cost: $10 - $45 Sliding Scale*
Non-Violent Communication (NVC) is a “language of compassion,” developed by Marshall Rosenberg, PhD, that enables us to stay connected to our own needs and aliveness, while at the same time holding others’ needs with care—even in the most difficult situations.
This Introduction will cover the fundamentals of NVC through large and small group discussions, and practical examples. When we bring these simple but profound tools to our encounters with the difficult situations in our lives, we create possibilities for transforming conflict into new levels of authenticity and connection.
Space at this event is limited. If you wish to attend, please help us meet our needs for preparation by e-mailing Greg Rouillard.
* All are invited to register for this event. We encourage you to contribute as high on the sliding scale as you are able to, with joy and ease.
